I have used this four times (once a week for four weeks) and already have patches of skin where hair is not growing and patches where regrowth is much slower than usual. I have dark hair but my skin is naturally Mediterranean so I wasn’t sure how well it would work. Some places in the Brazilian are my skin is darker and the device uses lower intensity and so hair growth isn’t reduced as much as other places but I can still see it’s slower so I am sure with more treatments I will get good effects ! this is a life changer. I’m the sort of person that if I shave in the morning I would have stubble by the evening so to have slower regrowth from only four weeks of use is already a life changer for me! I’m doing full legs (I have long legs), full Brazilian and armpits and takes approx 45 mins to do all thoroughly. It can be hard to see where you have done and I can see I must have missed a patch on my legs where the hair has grown back this time faster but you get used to using the device and over time will get every area enough times. For me it is not painless ! Some places it is quite uncomfortable - even legs - but I’m using on highest intensity not gentle mode as I want results asap so you can use gentle mode but results will take longer. It is so worth the discomfort though as before I would get terrible ingrown hairs if I waxed or epilated. I still wouldn’t use this on my face or chest area personally as I wouldn’t want to use it anywhere I don’t already shave so I epilate anything above the bikini area that I want to remove hair from. I do think this is one of the only devises where you can also epilate / wax and use rather than just shave though if people wanted to use elsewhere and it seems people get good results on other areas. I am amazed that this works and mind it is changing my life / best investment I’ve ever bought ! I bought a cheaper one from China before this that did NOTHING and didn’t hurt at all. Just go for a good brand that actually works. It is also one of the fastest ones in terms of flashes per second and intensity of light which makes a BIG difference when you use it ! Be sure you really shave well and get rid of any hair where you treat as even a little stubble will be singed by the device and hurt you more. I think it is getting less painful for me now that I have areas without visible hair beneath the skin so perhaps it hurts less as the results get better but whatever discomfort is so so worth it for the results. I wish I started this sooner or these were available when I was younger !

I bought the earlier model of this device and I was completely hair free (bar a few stragglers) after about 8-10 treatments. I am still hair free after ten years. This device definitely worked for me and it still flashes. I advised my daughter to buy this model which is slightly smaller and with a few minor improvements over the original. I noticed a difference after the third treatment with hair free patches appearing. When I say hair free, I mean that there is no longer any hair shaft in the follicles. The hair fell out and never regrew. So no dark stubble, just clear skin. It does sting a little especially on denser, darker hair but you know that’s because it is absorbing more heat and therefore will be more successful! I am probably the ideal type for this appliance though, with paler skin and very dark hair. Maybe that’s the reason it was so successful for me. Worth every penny!

Love this hair remover. Does not hurt at all, no in growing hairs and clean to use as no water, soap or wax needed.Was a bit sceptical at first but having to shave my legs every day as my hair grows so fast so had nothing to lose.I’ve been using this for over 6 weeks now and have very little hair on my legs. I only shave one a week before using the hair remover as works best on freshly shaven hair. I have little to no hairs on my legs just a few and they are short and soft and can hardly be seen.I am very pail with dark hair this is the perfect combination for these types of product so may be one of the reasons I’m getting such brilliant results.Even with the price tag I would highly recommend this product. But wish it can with glasses and something to clean the heads. This is my only criticism of a fantastic product

So I wanted to give this a fair shot before I review to hopefully help some of you that are interested in buying this IPL.I bought it back in October 22 and started using it once a week as per the instructions. It’s June now so it’s been a good 9 months.I used to have to shave every single day as when I shave in the morning by the end of the day I could already feel the hairs growing back. I suffered with loads of ingrown hairs especially on the back of my thighs that I’d always pick and squeeze and it just wasn’t a nice look in summer when wearing a short dress or a skirt. My bikini area was also full of really painful and awful looking ingrown hairs.So about 4-5 weeks into using the IPL I started to notice that the hairs are growing back slower, thinner and in patches. The instructions say that after 10-12 weeks of weekly use you can start using it once every 2-3 weeks and eventually only use it once every 1-2 months as a top up. I do however quite like my weekly routine so decided to stick with that as I know myself and if I don’t stick to a routine then I’ll completely forget to use it at all.What I do is I get in the shower first, shave, scrub, moisturise and when I get out I do both legs, full brazilian, underarms and half arms and it takes me no longer than 20 mins.I can definitely see hairs growing back during the week but they’re so fine and so short at this point that they’re barely noticeable. Shaving before the treatment also takes me about 5 mins now because they’re so short whereas back when I used to shave every day it was taking me at least 10-20 mins.I do still occasionally get the odd ingrown hair but nothing compared to what it used to be with just shaving.I am absolutely in love with this little gadget and will continue using it.It is an investment but is totally worth it!One thing to consider is that you can’t use it over tattoos so bear in mind if you have any tattoos you won’t be able to use it over that area. I have a big thigh tattoo and I just shave it but don’t treat it with the IPL.I would like to also say that before I made the purchase I did loads of research on this IPL and the Philips one and even though they’re almost completely the same in terms of power and efficiency I decided to go with this one as it’s significantly smaller in size than the Philips one so would be good for travel and it comes in a case as well. It’s a little big bigger than a standard epilator.Hope this review helps anyone who’s thinking about getting into IPL treatments!
