(2) Yamaha Heavy Duty Rear Shock Absorber Spring (95+) G14/G16/G19/G22 Golf Cart

Installing a Rhox 6” lift on my yahamaha G22 cart and wanted to replace the shocks while I had the rear taken apart, Amy advice is taking the body off before starting. Very difficult to reach everywhere with it on and was extremely frustrating. Either way the new shocks mounted into the lift kit easily without having to “modify” either. Can’t wait to get it all back together and take it for a ride with a stiffened up rear. Will update if any problems arise but I don’t expect them too.

The picture is what actually ships. Beautiful shiny black. Old springs were not "wasted" but were sagged of years with pickup box on back.The new shocks/springs do seem a bit stiff (without break-in) but still seem to ride nicer. I was hoping to get max height from these to squeak 20X7X10 tire without a lift kit. The original shocks put the car at 10.5 inches at rear bumper to ground. These provided 1 full inch of extra height. Ordered Monday morning, in hand Wednesday afternoon.Now to see if the larger tires rub anywhere.

I added a rear seat to my 2016 Yamaha drive golf cart and it swayed and was hard to steer with riders. The shocks fixed this.They are built heavy duty vs stock shock. It does stiffen the ride when there is no passenger. Working perfectly,item as described.

Even though the description said G14+, I had seen an installation video where it was stated that the same shocks/springs would work on G2/G9 also. So I took a chance and ordered them for my G9. They fit beautifully. As mentioned in other reviews, they don't have much give, but I wanted them because I'm also installing a rear seat.

Bought these for my 2003 yamaha g22a after putting a back seat on. They stiffened the back up nice so now when I have people riding on the back seat I'm not popping a wheelie!

VERY stiff. Makes for a rough ride unless you have a couple hundred pounds on the rear.

I had read somewhere that these would add lbs. to my hauling capacity and had my doubts. When I got them put on I stood on the back and (tried) to bounce. I could hardly get it to move. I thought, Oh God this is gonna make it ride rough. NO!! It's a little stiff but I think the trade-off is worth it.

Best thing after adding a rear seat this supported 2 adults and the extra weight no problem
