It did the job for us!!
We bought this under detector after my husbands wedding hens fell off while winning in our families pond. He was lucky to have seen it fly off and get an idea where it landed in the water. The detector was a little cumbersome to hold while scooping up muck to sift through— other than that it did its job with a little help of two people working together and we found it!!!

Don’t have a clue what I should know about it - no instructions.
Came with NO assembly or operational manual. Would be nice to have. While it is the day and age of technology, we are camping on a river for a couple of weeks and have limited signal - ordered this for use during the vacation. Looking up instructional is a pain. Should have been in the box.9v battery required and not include.Don’t know how it work yet lol

I'm not sure it's worth the money, but it does work
It works, sort of... It will detect a good wedding band at about 4 inches. It is waterproof. I took it to 82 feet, without a problem. If you're going to use it while scuba diving, you won't be able to hear the tones over there sound of your inhalation or exhalation (there's no volume control). It's slightly positively bouyant, but it's not enough to make it a problem.
