We bought these to use on ceramic ornaments because we are having a decorating party this weekend. I bought these because they SEEMED like a good value. They come in a box and then each pen is wrapped in plastic.. which was sort of a pain, then I realized why: they leak! You have to press the tip of each pen down many, many times before the paint gets flowing. We got through two markers and then the third marker was red and the paint gushed out everywhere. Fortunately I had down protective paper on my table. What a mess. We are returning.

I needed some reliable markers that could help me put a colorful design on a newly acquired old bookcase. I wanted to use paint and brushes, but wanted to have the design with clear edges there first. These markers were just what I needed. I was able to transfer the design and fill in color with paint and brushes.Having so many colors allowed me to creat a nice design.

They worked great for me. I used them to help add some detailwork on a large mural I was painting on a fence.Everyone should be made aware that for each marker's first time use - it takes a little patience and persistence to get it going. I think it's very likely that some of these other reviewers who say theirs didn't work - just gave up on them too soon. Some might think they're dried up - not realizing that (some markers more than others) take more time and playing with, to initially get started. After that first use, they're much easier, you just have to shake them occasionally.

Like the colors and ease of controlled use but very hard to get started. A good choice for your written design on glass, stone, etc.

Love these paint markers! I use them for rocks and use them on top of the acrylic base. They take a little time to start the paint flow, but is so much better than using a paintbrush, especially for finer detail. Only disappointment is that there is now white color.

I would have love give this a better overall review but one pen does not spring like it should. Because I dont have the time to return them I will keep the set but I am dissapointed. I will shop another brand when I am done with this set.

When I first got the paint pens I thought they were really nice. I had only tried one pen. The other day I tried using all the different colors and half of them were dry or they wouldn't flow properly. I Kept having to vigously shake them. Some of the pens I couldn't get to work at all!! I'm very disappointed

Poor flow, clogs frequently, the top part comes apart with no effort and dries markers out. The tips are weak and easily damaged- just by pressing the tip to release paint. So really, the cheap price is not worth it. Just get quality markers.

I bought these to decorate thigs around my house. They take a while to start actually working and dried out fairly quickly. They are acrylic so they’re not permanent on sufaces. Still had fun using these

Took a bit to get the paint to run but once it started to flow no problems afterwards. Caution on twisting too hard around the tip. They are refillable which we did not know and during the shaking of the black marker, the tip came loose and we had black paint leaking.

Very easy to use and I found great results in my crafting.
