I have several of this type of quilt. This is the most poorly made of all of them for the following reasons:Issues:1. The photo on Amazon clearly shows a bound edge on the blanket. I was specifically looking for a bound edge because it looks nicer and is more durable.2. The whip stitched edges are not even folded over in places leaving a raw and fraying edge. It is not only unsightly, it is an area that will only continue to fray further over time and look ragged.3. The lining fabric is a coarse weave “cottonish” fabric that is anything but soft as you would expect in this type of blanket.4. Threads used to quilt the blanket are broken in several places with the raw ends poking up. If they are that weak when new they are likely to be even worse over time.5. I requested a return authorization and the vendor replies that they had sent me a quality blanket, requested a photo of the and then closed the inquiry.6. I gave up and put the blanket on my bed and the red lining fabric turned my white sheets pink.I ended up cutting out the best sections of the blanket to make pillow shams for one of my other blankets.

The quilt received looks absolutely nothing like the item pictured/ordered. The quilt received has no distinct patchwork design and the colors are very muted/faded in appearance. We are extremely disappointed and cannot even give this quilt as a Christmas gift!

the quilt is really pretty and idk much about quilting but i do think it was well made. however, the quilt itself is quite rough and thin and actually feels more like a curtain than a blanket. overall really not comfortable at all and just not something that you'd wanna snuggle with in bed.

Beautiful coverlet, lightweight. Top fabric is a endless variety of saris scraps. Bottom a thin red cotton like on a tapestry. Stitched across on wide straight stitching. Some stitching is uneven or has loose stitches but it adds to the style of the item. It is an upcycled piece so I expect it will get wear and tear more easily, but the style will lend to repairs adding to the character.

This are handmade items. Usually nothing like the pictures they show since no two are alone. You can choose multi colored but there is no consistency in pattern or quality. You take your chances and see what you get. I’ve tried 3 or 4 times. Will keep 1 and asks friends and relatives if they want others

The colors are vibrant and the craftsmanship superb. It looks so beautiful on my bed.
