Poor Durability is it's critical flaw
Way overpriced due to poor durability. When I lifted the vest up to put it on for the first time, with it having only the pre-installed 10lbs of weight loaded in it, I could hear tiny popping sounds where pieces of the stitching were breaking inside the edge stitching on back of the neck-area of the vest. Unnacceptable! The manufacturer knows there is a durability issue with their product and their lame solution is to have the customer expend time and energy to return the vest for another poor-durability vest replacement.Hey, Hyperwear, before you post a reply to this post like you have other reveiwers who have noted the poor quality of this vest's durability.... realize that us going through the hastle of sending back and replacing with another poor-durability vest is not a solution! It is an absolute UNSAT situation to spend almost $200 for a weight vest that begins to fall apart right out of the box.I won't waste my money buying the overpriced weight-booster pack now because I don't expect the vest to last long enough based on my own experience and also the many other reviewers having durability problems (5lbs extra weight for $39 is also highway robbery).I will just chalk it up to "buyer beware" and do my own stitching to keep this vest from falling apart. It is such a shame because the vest is great except for this critical flaw of poor durability/quality.... making it's high purchase cost laughable.

Cheap, Not worth the $, Poor Quality
Bought this vest because it's slimmer than the CrossFit 5.11 tactical and it was on sale so I saved about $75 by choosing this one. Well I should have just upped my investment at the get go. This vest isn't worth $10. Both Logos fraying and multiple holes after literally one week of use. Light use at that. Free weights, walks with dogs and one 1 mile jog. Can't imagine what it would look like after you actually use it. Don't let the commercials and reviews fool you. They must be using their extra revenues to buy reviews. It's a joke. Save your $. 5.11 tactical....I think you'll see the difference immediately

Sizing was way off for me
I'm female, 62, 5'1", under 120 and short-torsoed, so after perusing the size chart at their site, ordered the small. It was WAY too small. Even with the side cords let out as much as possible I could barely zip it up, even with most of the weights removed. I suppose my weight has expanded more around my torso than someone else with my stats, but they really REALLY should list the underarm chest/bust measurement for the vest - it would have been obvious that the S wouldn't go around my evidently expansive chest.I didn't order a M, because I'm concerned that it also would not fit - probably too long for my short torso. Again, having the exact measurements of the vest would be helpful for fitting. All that being said, I was impressed by the quality of the vest.. and really sad that I couldn't keep it.They happily refunded my money, which was a relief.

Hyperwear does not care about quality.
After 3 uses the weight pockets developed holes (photo). After seeing the photo and hearing my concerns Hyperwear told me I should have bought the newer version. HOLES AFTER 3 USES!!! Why sell the old one if it is a piece of crap. EXTREMELY poor judgement and customer service by Hyperwear.

Lasted less than two years
Once all the weights are in and it gets sweaty it's Smells horrible. The weights get rusted and permanently stink up your shirts. Also, after use the pockets that hold the weights wear and a couple are almost worn where the weights will fall out.

Great for additional weight for workouts or cardio
I bought this vest to add to my normal walks and runs to just give me a little bit more of a workout. It works great and the abilities to distribute the weight as I see fit is AWESOME!The sizing is not super accurate as I’m 6’1 220lbs and picked up the XL and it’s too large on the smallest setting. So I should have got the Large. The worst part is just taking out and putting back in the weights to clean the vest but that’s just the nature of the beast to have a clean vest.I LOVE this vest and recommend anyone who looking to get one to pick it up

Overpriced accessory to an awesome vest
The Hyperwear Hyper vest pro is an awesome product (see may review on the vest). Although I would recommend getting these additional weights in order to up your workout, they are over priced. They are very well made, high quality and fit into the fest very well, but I feel that they are way overpriced. I would have given them a 5 star if they were less expensive. accessory

Great fit, very comfortable
Really nice vest. I'm 5'5"/140 lb and the medium fits perfectly. The bungees on the sides do that last bit of tightening to make it super comfy. I've done 6 mile runs in it so far and it is surprisingly comfortable, it doesn't shift around or rub (wearing a tshirt, tank top may be different). It's also nice for pushups and other body weight activities as well. The 10 lb is a nice weight that makes my runs a bit more difficult, but it is dispersed well where I don't feel like my back is taking on extra strain or knees too much pounding. I primarily picked this up since I will be helping a slower friend through half marathon training. It will definitely do the job to make those long runs beneficial for me too. I'm looking forward to hill runs with it and have started even wearing it around under a sweatshirt when just doing walks in the neighborhood and it cranks up my heart rate.Only gripe is that yeah, it gets hot underneath it. We'll see how that feels in the middle of summer, but really what else can you expect from encasing yourself in a vest full of metal. The vest itself though does seem to breathe well and dry out nicely after a run.Not a gripe, but a wish list. I wish it had a little pouch or pocket that you could slip a phone/keys/whatever into it. I can fit a running belt around it to have my stuff with me, but it looks pretty silly. So a pouch could go a long way on future versions of this.

Bought to help osteoporosis
I'm not a fitness freak but a 57 year old woman recently diagnosed with osteoporosis as the result of a private bone density scan. As a result I was told to do more weight bearing exercise to improve my bone density and if possible to get a weighted vest.I scoured the internet but did not like most of what I found. I knew that if the vest didn't fit properly or made me look like a terrorist (I kid you not) that I would be loathe to wear it. I came across this vest as part of my online research and was dithering because of the price. However, I had joined a FB support group for those with osteoporosis so I asked other members how they were adding weights to their walking routine. One woman said she had this vest and that it was a very comfortable fit.I decided to take the plunge and although I have only worn it a few times I am very pleased so far. The lacing means that the vest fits very well, really it hugs the body rather than hanging off the shoulders. The fabric is quite soft and nothing cuts in to the body or rubs. Because the weights are so small I've taken most of them out and am beginning with just 1 kilo of additional weight. I used a teaspoon handle to lever out the weights which otherwise are a little awkward to get out.I'm very pleased with my purchase and when I wear it I hardly know I have it on.

Expensive But Comfortable
Got the small for wife 5’1” 115 lbs. She says it’s very comfortable and fitted, hugging the body snuggly with no rubbing. She has worn it for CrossFit, running hills and short/medium distance runs. Not sure what the “Elite” version offers over the regular one. Pockets are a little too small additional weights. Wouldn’t recommend getting this vest if you plan to go heavier than 10-12lbs

choose the right size
I bought a size small based on the chart provided. I should have gotten the medium because the small is a bit short. I fall within both the small and medium range. If you are like me, go for the larger size. Otherwise, the material is of very high quality, the vest is very comfortable to wear and it does make my workout more challenging.

Guidelines for size are wrong
I am 5 foot one and weights 110 pounds. The SMALL vest is so tight, even with only 2 pounds charge i'm barely able to zip up when the side elastics are at there maximum length, even without a Tshirt. I am very deceived because to exchange it for a MEDIUM size, I would have to pay twice transport fees, one for the return and one for second order.
