VTech Upgraded Audio Baby Monitor with Rechargeable Battery, Long Range, and Crystal-Clear Sound

I got this to use when I was caring for my elderly mother. Her bedroom was on a different level than the one I was sleeping in and I needed to hear if she got up in the night on her own. This monitor worked just great. It's got great sensitivity too, and picked up any sound in her room- even when her dog was on the floor scratching his ears. It was super easy to set up and to operate. The remote I had on my end I could take anywhere in the house with me and hear my mom from wherever I was. Exactly what we wanted and needed. If you just want a "sound" monitor and not visual as well, this one works great.

Very good for the price especially. Works well. Battery doesn’t last really long but we keep it plugged in mostly anyway especially during the night. Very glad we went with this one, great value.

This is my second baby. I reused the more expensive baby monitor that had a camera with this baby when he is in his nursery.I was looking for a back up monitor that I could use around home or travel with easily that did not need to be mounted.Pros: this is fairly affordable and has decent sound detection and quality. The quality of sound and detection of sound is just as good as my more expensive monitor. I also like that it is not one ment to be mounted anywhere making it pretty portable. I also like that the parent unit is rechargeable.I also like the communication range between the units. It's by far one of the longest ranges offered without being price gouged.Cons: I didn't realize that the baby unit had to stay plugged into the wall to be usable. I initially thought both units were wireless and rechargeable. This makes it slightly less portable that anticipated as you have to have the monitor close enough to baby but also near and outlet.The cord is decent length but still a pain as your little one may not always fall asleep or be close enough to an outlet.

I purchased the vtech machine to monitor my baby it is loud and clear if a pin drops I can hear it , it works perfectly, only downside is the parent handset don’t last too long I have to charge it as I carry it around with me in the house. It can also stay plugged in that way it doesn’t run out of charge

We purchased this for a bottle fed kitten. It worked great. We were able to hear anytime she woke up. It was reasonably priced as well.

I bought because I’m obsessed with my dog, and this to hear her when she’s ready to come down off our bed. Now I can hear her first groan & let her know I’m on the way before she has to bark. Bonus, I love being able to hear her snuffle around & give us her nightly turn-down service; good quality sound. The base is about 70 feet from the parent unit in the living room.Edit x2. Regarding the battery not holding a charge. The cons outweigh the pros. The more I think about it, I paid for a functioning monitor, & with the parent unit not holding a charge, I am returning it for something that works.

Very sensitive to sound which I love and totally worth the price. It’s cheap and it’s exactly when I was looking for. I just wanted to listen for sound. Did I mention the battery life on the parent side. I love being able to take it anywhere around the house and even outside the front or back yard. You can’t leave with it like down the road but it’s nice if you’re sitting outside and want to listen for the baby. The size is great and it can clip on your pants like a walkie talkie. It’s easy to use and you can adjust the value to preference. I can have low or up high so I can hear while I’m sleeping. Connection is crazy for the price, super convenient. 10/10 recommendations
