Sleek Design and Effortless Control – A Must-Have for Hue Users
I recently added the Philips Hue Smart Wireless Dimmer Switch V2 to my smart home setup, and it has been a game-changer. The installation was a breeze; the included adhesive allowed me to mount it on the wall without any hassle, and the magnetic base makes it easy to remove and use as a remote control. The switch's sleek and modern design complements my home decor beautifully, whether mounted on the wall or used off it. Its responsive buttons provide instant control over my Hue lights, allowing me to adjust brightness and cycle through preset scenes effortlessly. I was so impressed with its performance that I purchased a second one for another room.Overall, the Philips Hue Dimmer Switch V2 combines style, functionality, and ease of use, making it an excellent addition to any Philips Hue lighting system.

Does exactly what it says
Seamlessly links with Philips hue lights and now basically every room has these dimmers in them. I particularly like the hue button to cycle through predefined scenes you can edit within the hue app.Reliability is perfect as well. Never had any issues with connectivity. Installation is a piece of cake - you literally stick it on the wall with the 3m strips provided on the back of the unit.10/10 recommend if you have Philips hue.

Great Addition to the HUE System
If you have a Phillips hue system in your household then this smart wireless dimmer switch will not miss.Whether it's a permanent fixture to be used in replace of a light switch or even as a remote this switch is very handy. As with all Phillips Hue products it is very easy to connect it to your ecosystem. The product itself looks great and feels nice in hand.Programming the switch can be figured in the app which allows you to really set the device up to suit your needs.

Great switch however has a minor issue
This is a great Zigbee switch that works will with home assistant. What I like:The remote portion fees solid and is easy to use.It is easy to pair with home assistant or the Philips hue hub.It is extremely responsive. What i dislike:The wall holder is extremely flimsy and cheap. It is essentially a thin piece of plastic with a small magnet hot glued to the back.

Amazing dimmer for hue
The quality of this switch is amazing, with compatibility with various types of hue bulbs. The fit and size were also excellent with it working on my wall very neatly. Very easy to install on the wall with the attached removal stickers with no issues with paint. The white backing and switch provides a sleek appearance. Overall great product

Work with Zigbee2MQTT and sticks to metal (steel) surfaces
I bought this originally not for dimming but to reset Hue bulbs (e.g. to re-pair FROM a non-Hue hub). Normally if you remove a bulb from a Hue hub, it will reset the bulb automatically but not if you use a generic bridge / hub (e.g. Conbee II and Sonoff in my case). There are a bunch of methods to do it without a Hue hub (including simply through Bluetooth + phone) but in my case, using the dimming switch is the fastest and most convenient (and guaranteed to work first try). Now that I have it, I am also using it for its intended purpose, albeit via Zigbee2MQTT instead. It's not as responsive compared to using with a Hue hub and require some additional work in HomeAssistant to set up automation for more generic use (such as if you don't want to bind the switch to a single bulb) but it works well enough. The "Hue" instead of Off button (in the V1) is a decent gimmick with a Hue hub but with a 3rd party hub, I can automate the same thing in HA with the V1 Off button as well so for me, V1 and V2 are basically the same device. The most important improvement over the V1 switch is that the magnet is on the V2 switch, instead of the wall plate (I can't fathom whoever designed the V1 and thought it was a good idea to have the magnet on the wall plate). So with the V2, you can freely position (and reposition) it on the fridge, metal desk, metal drawer etc. which is way more convenient and flexible. Obviously it won't stick to aluminium but that's physics.
