Pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use this julienne peeler! The peeler is two-sided - one side is a regular peeler while the other one has kind of teeth that cut the slices into matchsticks - which made for one less tool to wash. The package includes a small brush that came in handy removing all the bits of veggie pulp that got stuck in the edges.I purchased this because I wanted to make zucchini and carrot noodles, but wasn't able to use my spiralizer for a few weeks. The peeler cut through my zucchinis and carrots fairly easily, although it did require me to find fatter vegetables and I ended up with a lot of core that went into a stir fry the next day.The only complaint I had was the packaging. It came in a bubble mailer envelope, but the box itself was very squished in transit. Nothing was damaged though, so not a huge deal. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review.

I received my HOXHA PremiumUltra Sharp Stainless Steel 2-in-1 Jullienne & Vegetable Peeler complete with a cleaning brush along with other items I had purchased. It was wrapped in bubble wrap, then was in its individual box, bubble wrapped again and placed inside another box with my other purchased item. I must say, that’s some professional packing and I’m impressed! Needless to say, everything arrived safe and sound. Thank you for that.At first look at the 2 in 1 Julienne vegetable peeler, you will notice the long brushed stainless steel handle and its design. The shape of the is ergonomically designed for easy gripping and the stainless steel is brushed which keeps it from sliding so easily in the hand. It also has a tab at the end for hanging. The length is approximately 4 ½” long (not including the 1” tab at the end for hanging).It has a standard blade which is super sharp (definitely not a kids toy and don’t test it for sharpness with your finger or you’ll get cut). This one, I used to peel a potato, carrots, and a cucumber.Opposite that, it has a serrated edge used for Julienne of your fruits and vegetables.Although this is dishwasher safe, I will be hand-washing it. I don’t like using a dishwasher and for some reason, I found that mechanical gadgets usually last longer when hand washed. In any case, it comes with a brush which makes cleaning a snap. I am trying to more fruits & vegetables in my diet, so I have been buying some tools to make it easier to encourage my healthy diet goals. I choose this kind because it didn’t have a plastic handle and two-sided blade. It's heavy, but seems very well built and durable. It comes with a small cleaning brush, which is a plus since I would easily cut myself trying to pull out any food ruminants out of the small grooves. This is dishwasher safe, though I’ll probably handwash to keep the peeler sharp longer.The blade is nice and really sharp. (…so be careful when you use this!) It didn’t take a lot of pressure when I tested it out on some potatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and carrots. The only negative is that over a long period of time your hand might ache some and the steel gets a little slippery compared to a peeler with a rubber grip.Overall, I like this product and am looking forward to trying to make hash browns and some vegetable chips with this!I take pride in my reviews and I only post honest reviews whether I receive them for free, at a discount or pay full price. I was in need of a new peeler and saw this one also had the ability to julienne. Tried it out today peeling potatoes, worked great. Seems to made pretty solidly. Used the julienne blade on the potato just to try it out and was impressed. Will be attempring my own hashbrowns at some point in the future. Come with a cleaning tool, though I didn't need it. Rinsed clean easily enough and then I just through it in the dishwasher. I was given a discount on this product in hopes I'd review it, and I'm happy with my purchase.
