Size:Small FOR WINDOWS UP TO 39" X 57" Awarded Gold in the Gentle Parenting awards, and Silver in the Loved By Parents awards, this portable blackout blind is perfect for use both at home and away. Silvered on one side to reflect both heat and light away, helping to keep your room dark and cooler! If you prefer to keep it full size so that it will fit any window, then simply fold or allow the excess to hang down when in use. Easynight is available in a range of sizes. INCLUDES: Easynight fabric, suction cups, self-adhesive frame fasteners and self-adhesive fabric fasteners.

What happened to the Velcro?
I purchased this a year ago for traveling and really liked it. So I purchased another one for our home. I noticed the Velcro that’s supposed to stick to the window was different and much smaller. I tugged on the fabric lightly and it came right off. Disappointed that they changed the stickers. Will have to purchase something else for it to stick to the windows.

Nice, but with one major flaw that makes it useless.
While the product does block light as advertised, the Velcro tabs used to hang the blind are a major failure, Since these are supposed to be for travel, they obviously wanted a glue that would allow you to remove the Velcro without damaging the window casing. The problem is that with the glue being that soft, it will not stay attached through the night. I even went to far as to line the entire upper edge with Velcro to distribute the weight more easily, but each time come morning the shade had dropped from the window letting the morning sun in to wake us up (which is the problem I was trying to avoid. Again, the silver and black material were great and would have been worth five stars, if only they provided a hanging option that would last at least through one full night.

An Excellent Purchase For A Baby Who Does Not Nap
Our son is a wonderful night sleeper, but getting him to take daytime naps has always been a struggle. His nursery tends to get a lot of natural light during the day, even with his blinds closed, so we discovered that was the issue. Within the first day of quickly installing this in his room, he increased his nap time. Now a baby who used to maybe take two 20 minute naps during the day is take two or three solid naps of at least 45 minutes and sometimes up to 2 hours. Plus, he is in a better, less cranky mood thanks to the extra ZZZZZZZZs. So glad we purchased this product!

We used these to block out the sun from our nursery. The window gets direct light in the afternoon until the sun sets and NOTHING was working (blackout curtains, honeycomb blackout shades). I used this and put the suction cups exactly where I needed them to be and they haven't fallen down since putting them up over a month ago. They block out a lot of heat from the sun as well. We don't even have an issue with light bleeding from the sides or in the middle where the window lock is located. We do still use the blackout curtains in front of it for asethetics.

Love this shade
Love this shade! It works great for what we needed it for. Our kids were waking up at 5am but with this shade, it's not 6:30 or 7am! You don't get a seemless closure around the edges but it makes the room significantly darker. I also liked how we didn't have to drill holes or "install" anything. It comes off and on easy...we put it up every night and take it down every morning. I thought the price was a bit steep, but it was worth the money knowing it worked.

"Black-Out Curtains" Do Not Work!
Daughter won't sleep without it! We attach this shade directly to the window since we are renters. After 2 years, the suction cups have gradually become less effective and we used the adhesive velcro directly on the windows. Living in Arizona, the heat of the sun will cause the adhesive to melt on the glass and on the piece that adheres to the shade itself. So we have been facing an issue with it falling off during day time naps. I plan on getting creative though because this is the only thing that actually blocks out light. I've tried multiple brands of alleged "black-out" curtains and none of them compare to this reflective fabric. I notice a considerable temperature difference in her room as well.

I'm going back for seconds
WOW what a difference!I'm a night worker, so having a large window that faces the morning sun was harsh! This solution was just what I needed. I used the velcro instead of the suction cups and velcro'd it to the vinyl window frame. The velcro is nice and secure and I was able to cut it to fit perfectly. I used it UNDER the mini blinds. Now sure, as the other reviews say, you COULD just go get your own fabric, your own velcro, your own suction cups and add the velcro to it. If you're really handy, then sure. BUT why? For the price, you get everything you need and the bag for easy traveling. I have a second window I want to use this for. I'm not going to bother making it myself (I'm not Judy King y'know). I'm going to buy another one.

It works.
I bought this for my son’s nursery. We had blackout curtains in his room, but they were ineffective and summer means sunsets and light coming through them until 10:00 pm or later and it just wasn’t working. This product is a little bit more expensive than similar options out there, but it seems to be worth it. The blackout fabric is great and the silver backing does work to deflect heat. My only complaint about the fabric is that it did come with some small pinholes along the creases. Because I hung it behind an existing pair of curtains, it’s not an issue for our house. It comes with two options for securing the fabric to your window frame: removable Velcro and suction cups. I’ve tried both, and they both work fairly well. The suction cups are nice, but placement is tricky and takes some practice. It’s a great solution for travel. The adhesive Velcro is nice for more “permanent” placement (and it’s what I will use at home) but because it is removable, the adhesion isn’t super-strong and I’m not sure how long it will last.Overall,

Really useful portable black out blind
Used in our rental house during the summer when the kids were in East facing bedrooms. Really good for blocking out the light at night and in the morning. Also took on holiday for the kids' room and now I've cut it down to fit my older son's window until we get a more permanent solution. Suction cups best to use on windows with wooden frames, where the adhesive frame pads would maybe pull paint off. They're great on uPVC window frames though - better than the cups.

Really flexible for size
We got this for general holiday use and have used it in three properties so far. Initially it arrives with a single large sheet, a load of suction cups and the velcro pads to attach to the fabric, this works really well and all the windows we've stuck it on have held for a whole holiday no issue. I have cut the fabric into a couple of sections so it can cover two windows or one big one. The only downsides is although it comes with a drawstring bag, I cannot work out how on earth you'd fit the fabric in with the accessories. Also would be nice for the fabric to be pre-edged with the velcro strip so you could stick the suction cups anywhere.

Excellent for reflecting heat as well as for blacking out
Excellent product. We are using them in a house where some windows get so much sun in the summer that you can't sit in them without a fan! This has already worked wonders in the living room and the bedroom so very happy. The silver lining really helps reflect light and heat away from the wondow. Obviously wish it wasn't so expensive but it does the job and is so easy to install.Make sure you allow a couple of cms on each side so you get a.really good black out effect.

Had to return it
Has to return the product as it didn’t work as intended. It had many holes alongside the product in which the light came through. Also the size was not as expected.Really disappointed with the purchase. Will have to find another one for my room.

We swear by these!
So good. We performed the black out test. Hold your hands right in front of your face. If you can see your hand, it's not dark enough. With these blinds installed correctly, you can't see your hands, let alone anything else. Our daughter loves them and we have a good little sleeper They're easy to install - just cut to size and apply. Easy to roll them up half way each day between naps and bedtime.
