Johari West Cool Nights Tropical Hawaiian Batik Cotton Shirt

I was looking for a conservative looking Hawaiian shirt (I know that sounds odd). I never liked loud baggy shirts. it is an attractive shirt that is well made. I ordered a size large and it fits me perfectly. I’m 5’10” 195 lbs with a 46” chest and a 37” waist. The shirt fits the chest area just right but little or no room for anything larger. Good length, and sleeves are just right. Also, although the shirt is not tapered, not a lot of room if you are anything more than a 39”-40” waist. I give these details because I had some concern of ordering one too large or small. I hope this helps. Lastly this shirt is dark and the pattern is also dark so if you want a loud Hawaiian shirt don’t order this color. I recommend it.

I now have six of these shirts, but in different colors. While I like Hawaiian shirts, I am at that age where you see too many retired looking guys walking around in hibiscus and plumeria combos. While those shirts do look nice, I like something a bit different and not so "look at me I'm retired and wish I lived in Hawaii". These shirts are unique and I have been complimented on them. The material is comfortable and seems durable. I have washed and dried them a few times and have not seen any color loss.I had some older shirts that I hated to part with, but they were looking a bit long in the tooth and starting to fall apart, so it was necessary to replace them. These fit the bill nicely.This particular shirt is one of my favorites.I was NOT given these shirts as a discount and paid full pop. You really do have my honest and BIASED opinion. Cheers

The size system is not for Americans or at least big Americans. Apparently the manufacturer doesn't understand who their client base is. I had ordered these shirts for a vacation i had overseas. I had them shipped to my hotel because i could not be at home to receive them. I receive the shirts and I find they are too small. At least two sizes too small but I'm not sure as I would have to try a few sizes to figure out my size. I was really angry about this experience but what can I do?So not only do they not fit but then quality of the material is not very good. Its cheap and faded looking and it doesn't have the "pop" that you see here in Amazon. This was a complete waste of money as I am not able to return and i bought a few of these shirts. Maybe I could cut them up and use them as drapes. So while on vacation, I found a couple of local tailors who were able to make similar shirts for about half the price of this shirt and deliver to me in 2 days but I will NEVER buy from this brand again...

Shirt fits great and also looks just like the picture! I am roughly 6' tall and weigh about 170 lbs..I usually wear large tee shirts but I know Hawaiian shirts run a bit big so I went with a MEDIUM and it fits perfectly fine. Would highly recommend for the quality and price.

These Johari West tropical shirts have great designs that stand out from your typical floral aloha shirts. My shirt was well constructed without excess loose stitching and I felt it was worth the price. It's a much higher quality garment than the cheap and uncomfortable costume items you only expect to wear once. I'm glad I sized down from my usual Large to a Medium because these shirts do run big.

Good quality shirt. Looks nice just too big. I know Hawaiian shirts are supposed to fit big but I am 6 foot 3 inches 225 pounds so I got an XL Tall. Very "billowy". I reordered a large and was much happier with the fit.

Great Hawaiian shirt without the deep v-neck collar look. Material is quality and the look is great. I'm 6'2" and went with the XLT, glad I did. I bought this shirt to wear to a Jimmy Buffett concert and it is perfect for the occasion. I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a good casual Hawaiian shirt.
