I would recommend going up a half size as they seem to come up small

I found the New Balance 574 wide fit trainers in black to be very comfortable and smart looking. The delivery was extremely quick also. Most trainers sold by the usual trainer companies are too narrow, so I am definitely going to order again from Wide Fit Shoes UK in the future.

Lovely trainers, great quality. Smaller than expected so I would suggest going up half a size. Maybe it's because they are children's not adults?

It just confirms that shoes/trainers/boots vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and, if possible, you should try them in the flesh.I love the trainers though and have returned the 9.5 and ordered a 10 and a 10.5 and will return one of them. The colour is similar to the images shown ... not a light grey but not green in any way - just a medium grey.EDIT.I received the 10 and the 10.5 today (very quick delivery) and have returned the 10.5 and kept the 10.My previous trainers have been 9 or 9.5I would say, judging from my own experience, plus what most other buyers say, that you would need to buy a half size bigger than your normal trainer size. I guess it's possible that you could go up a whole size but in my case the 10 was perfect whereas the 9.5 was too small and the 10.5 was too big.

The size probably comes up slightly small due to the thick materials for this particular take of the 574/576, if you have New Balance similar to these in leather with little to spare for your toes then go up a half size for these. I personally found the materials used for this particular shoe to be too hot for anything other than outside in the winter months. It's a real shame that New Balance shoes aren't made in the UK at anywhere near the prices which used to be common; as every foreign-made version I've tried so far comes up short and the UK-made ones are multiple times more expensive than they used to be.

I don't know if they're real New Balance or some cheap imitation but the last two pairs of New Balance 574 I bought on Amazon doesn't lasted me more than a year of normal use , I'm highly disappointed , definitely wouldn't recommend

I have been wearing Skechers a lot and these are not as comfortable or cushioned for an older person. I always fit size 8 but these are a slightly tight fit.
