The Waterboy [DVD]

Quite simply, this is a wonderful movie. The acting is sublime, from Sandler himself, but the roles of his Mum and the Coach (you must know who they are) are played hilariously by Bates and Winkler.One thing you will not see appreciated everywhere, is the "sound track" but it is quite a remarkable spectrum of lovable classics that just add to the enjoyment...One thing to note for grown-ups with their children is that there are three instances of expletive-deletive swearing hiding in this movie which the censors have either missed or overlooked. I am not sure that 12 year olds should be hearing "cut off his **cking head".But hey, forwarned is foraremed.Love it.

What's not to like? The most bonkers game in the world parodied by one of the funniest guys in the world. You Can do it all night long Bobbie.

The image quality is very good for a dvd, It has English subtitles

hillaroius although some of its humour is very juvenile I do not overthink my entertainment i do it moften enugh in real life

If you like Adam Sandler films then you'll love this one.Bobby Boucher (Adam Sandler), a sheltered young man from the Louisiana swamps with a stutter and an unnatural love for water, finds the perfect fit for his talents when he becomes the waterboy for a horrible college football team. When Coach Klein (Henry Winkler) discovers Bobby's amazing tackling skills, he recruits the simple young man to turn his team around. But, in order to keep his dream of attending college alive, Bobby will have to hide his new activities from his overbearing mother (Kathy Bates).Very enjoyable film that had the whole family chuckling away!

this movie certainly is not everybodys sense of humor, but its my sense of humor :DI think u love this movie, or just cant stand it at all but if you like Adam Sandler, its a good start then ;)I find it funny the whole way through

Bought this for a Christmas gift and am really pleased with it. I enjoyed the film very much, great family fun and really wanted to own it. Price was great and packaging was economical.All in all im very pleased with everything.

Gentle, funny, heartwarming entertainment.

Meiner Meinung nach ein teils lustiger, teils nachdenklicher Streifen mit einmem Hauptdarsteller in guter Form.Es geht um einen Aussenseiter an einer amerikanischen Highschool, der von vielen Schülern gemobbt wird. Doch er hat ein ausserordentliches Talent für Americcan Football und erkämpft sich so die Achtung seines Coaches und seiner Mitspieler.
