Like Botox for Your Car! A+++
We purchased this product when restoring our 93 Nissan & 99 Volvo, "original green" as we call it. The Volvo had weatherstripping on the exterior that was nearly peeling off (and some of those parts are like unicorns and impossible to find so preservation is key). After about 3-4 applications of VRP, the trim is moisturized and back to nearly its original condition. As many know with older vehicles, keeping the plastic, vinyl and rubber supple is essential to keeping the car in great shape.VRP is like Botox for your car, providing truly durable nourishment to the rubber. We love this product and use it on the dash, window and door weatherstripping, engine bay rubber hoses and tire walls (instead of tire shine which is terrible for your tires btw). The smell is light but pleasant (not artificial). A bottle of the 16 oz size is enough for us to go over our 2 cars, inside and out, multiple times in one year (and we are generous with usage). We even used in on parts of the truck bedliner, and it actually repels dirt for about 2 months!I recommend applying with small arts and craft sponges for small areas. Otherwise, for dash and interior vinyl application a car wax sponge works very well.Fantastic and highly valued product, as we have experienced with all Chemical Guys items! It makes a great gift for Father's Day, Christmas, birthdays or any time for the car, truck or boat enthusiast!

Time Machine in a Bottle – and Stupidly Easy to Use!
Listen, I don’t know what kind of wizardry Chemical Guys put in this bottle, but it must involve some sort of black magic or a deal with a detailing demon. I started by using VRP on my wife's 4-month-old car—it had just battled through a winter that made it look like it had been through a war zone. After a quick wipe-down, BOOM! The tires, molding, and dash looked like they had just been teleported from the dealership showroom. But then came the real test… my 14-year-old car. This poor thing has seen things. It's endured years of neglect, coffee spills, snack crumbs, and a level of dust buildup that could qualify as an archaeological site. I applied VRP to the dash and trim, and I kid you not—it was like I had just signed the paperwork and driven it off the lot 14 years ago. I half expected the radio to start playing 2010’s top hits again. And just when I thought I had reached peak car resurrection, I decided to test VRP in the engine bay. Now, this engine bay had seen leaks, grime, and enough dust to make a desert jealous. But with just a few wipes, it looked like it belonged in a showroom. I was half-convinced the car gained 10 extra horsepower just from how fresh it looked! And the best part? It took almost zero effort. Just wipe it on, step back, and admire the transformation. No greasy mess, no streaks—just pure, instant car rejuvenation. If you can butter a piece of toast, you can make your car look brand new with this stuff. So if you want your car to look fresh out of the factory—whether it’s months old or old enough to have a midlife crisis—this stuff is the real deal. Chemical Guys, take my money. I’ll be using VRP until the end of time! 🚗💨

I waited so long for this
Seriously, 2 week wait. Anyway, it's a big bottle and I gave it a whirl after dinner on my old car (she's old but sturdy and lovely) and was happy it smelled of the beach (coconutty) and it didn't make my hands greasy! A tiny bit goes a long way and the sad grey plastic trim bits were glossy and black again, not a greasy wet shine a great glossy back to original looking trim. SUPER IMPRESSED! Worked on the tires too (they are new but I live around dirt roads) and I'm interested to see how it holds up in the rain capital of America I live in. I'll update as weather changes, but for now, it was a great purchase and well worth the price!

Great look but...
Appearance is amazing and its easy to apply. My truck is white and even after wiping excess gel off the tire it makes a real mess for a couple of days. Black dots all down the side of my truck. Not sure how to prevent this but I dont plan to use it anymore.

Clean
Works as it should. Doesn't leave a greasy feel. If you are gonna use on interiors... I'd suggest lett8ng product sit for a hour or over night and before you go anywhere, wipe down with clean microfiber towel.

Restores black vinyl
This product works as advertised. The matte black trim on my Shelby GT500 came back with a few wipes applied with a sponge. It looks new!

Gets the job done
I use this for the outside plastics and as tire shine for my cars. Gets the job done but I notice it doesnt last too long. Although it does not last long its still decent becase the bottle has enough to last a while. Everytime I run my cars thru a car wash I need to reapply. When it is applied it looks really good and has a nice deep black tone.
