Ok for the price, but…
Is what it is.I bought this for an Sig p322. I would not recommend buying this item for that application. My P322 came with a Romeozero Elite, but I hate the button location on that red dot. I really wanted a shake-awake/solar powered version. I have a HOLOSUN with those features and love it. But, that optic was some $300. HOLOSUN also doesn’t make an RMSC footprint with solar though. So, I settled on trying this as a potential bargain. Unfortunately, the P322 doesn’t have any studs in its Rmsc footprint, which is the first problem I ended up with. This optic comes with a slew of screws - I appreciated the planning on their part. However, they’re fairly “standard” screws. This ends up meaning that when you use a smaller diameter screw, it is much smaller than the holes in the optic. If my gun slide had the Rmsc footprint studs, this probably wouldn’t matter. Fail on Sig’s part. Cheap weasels. But, no studs + generic screws without bushings = the optic can be mounted very sloppy. Like 10 degrees side-to-side slop. Sort of annoying. I question if zero has any hope of holding, even on a small .22lr. But, again, mostly shame on Sig for this issue. YMMV.Now specifically with regards to this optic:As advertised, it’s always on. Always. Ok. It is what it is. I don’t believe the 50k hr claim for a moment, but I doubt I’ll find out soon enough to really holler about that. With solar, probably long enough life though. I wouldn’t bet my life/put it on an EDC or desk-drawer gun though. Daylight/Range gun? Ok.One review said they thought it would be brighter? Makes me wonder about the QC on this product. The red dot is TOO bright for me, by far. It’s a blur. The manual would suggest that I have an astigmatism? Uh, maybe? I have no similar issues with my other red dots though, but they also have adjustable brightness. This red dot is sort of akin to them when they’re maxed out on brightness range. And then maybe a little brighter yet. Does it dim according to environment? …Yes? In a normally lit room, it’s absurdly bright. In a pitch black room, it’s maybe 15% less — but still way too bright for the application. Maybe it’ll be ok in a sunny field. I end up really questioning the “4 moa” claim - the dot looks Huge to me, but, might just be a function of the overwhelming brightness. Maybe as the battery diminishes, it will dim down some? The physical quality seems fine, FWIW. Comes with a cover and adjustment screw driver. This optic probably has some adequate applications. Hindsight tells me I was a fool for buying it. Somewhat advanced features on a cheap made-in-china product = bound to not be my best purchase. It’s kind of a “one size fits all” which just doesn’t really actually fit others. Wish I had just paid for a non-solar shake-awake HOLOSUN with manually adjustable brightness. While this isn’t exactly a glowing review, I don’t really want to be that disparaging of the item either. It is largely as advertised. It seems to be well built. It seems like good thought went into it. It just doesn’t really work very well for ME because the default brightness is just too extreme. YMMV. For me, I wish I’d just paid 2x as much for something that’s a bit more adjustable.

Maybe not the Best, but...
... for the price, it's not that bad.To be right up front, I'm not a huge fan of optics, have not owned that many or used that many, feeling that the primary purpose of a handgun, for me, requires that it be as small and light as possible, unless it's a range toy, and the range toy aspect will be the focus of this review and my rating. Not being used on a defensive sidearm changes the focus for me, and as such, reliability, battery life etc, are not as of paramount importance as they would be on a defensive weapon. Basically, all I want to do is be able to see the reticle and have the reticle be accurate. For that, this has met my expectations. For a more detailed analysis, I would suggest reading the reviews of those more experienced with such optics, as well as the video reviews on Ytube. For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Four StarsI am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

Excellent RED Dot
This red dot sight is incredibly good for the price, I've used much more expensive sights and it's up there with some of the best, the sensor activation is very well tuned, it charges when in the sun which is a plus, mounts on many guns with ease and looks very good when mounted, the sight Glass looks incredible with the amber sheen, the red dot is pretty visible but it does reflect quite a bit, the sight itself isn't very bulky so it can be used as a addition to a CC fire arm as well as a Hunting sight, the materials used to fabricate this sight are very nice, the sight over all is a very nice made, light weight sight, great sight for the price ! Excellent product !

Crisp, rugged economical alternative to the EPS Carry MRS.
Picked this up after seeing ADE on the market for a long time. It's safe to say that it looks like they're making their way up in the quality featured line of sights. Stacking up against the EPS Carry MRS, this looks like it provides almost all of the functionality other than enclosed emitter for a fraction of the price. The dot is very crisp and easy to adjust. I haven't put much range time into it yet, but it held zero through a range box (~50ct). It mounted to the original Hellcat without any issues. It does come with screws and all. The only thing I didn't like that is apparent on many carry sized footprints is the edges of the bottom battery compartment are exposed. It is NOT waterproof and will need an additional gasket to match up to this model's competition. Easily resolved with the large savings.

Mediocre
You get what you pay for there are better out there but cost more seems to hold at the range. Small view area

lots of pluses
best thing about this is that it has a solar powered feature so that even if your battery is drained you will be able to use it. I tought that it would be a little brighter and I think it should have come with a protective cover, but oter that that its a pretty good product
