Sooooo sharp!
This knife is so sharp and so smooth! It makes me feel like a professional chef. Makes chopping large amounts of veggies go so fast. Super easy to use and light enough but also heavy enough to almost do the cutting for you. Great knife

Great value
I got this as a gift for my daughter who is learning the joy of cooking. Me, I'm a knife snob but also love a quality value blade. This Bloomhouse is a decent steel with a full tang and lovely olivewood handles. Comes with a sheath. Seemed just the thing for a budding chef and my daughter couldn't be happier. Don't fool yourself into thinking you are getting the equivalent of a high-end German or Japanese knife. But for the money, this knife is the bomb!

It’s worth it
Packaged nicely. Beautiful knife. The fit of the wood is not perfect but it’s acceptable for a 40 dollar knife. Blade is polished beautifully and sharp!!

Chef mode activated
With this knife, the kitchen is my domain. I feel like a real home chef now. It looks good, feels good, and cuts good. It's all good. It's a beautiful knife made with quality materials.Full tang and includes a sturdy sheath. This addition sealed the deal for me.The price point is attractive. It's the only knife I use in the kitchen. I clean it right after every use and haven't used it in the dishwasher. It is sharp, so be careful.

Build quality is excellent
I have mainly wusthof knives from the early 2000s and these are built just the same from what I can tell. Who knows how the metal holds up over time, but sharpens nicely. I don't ever put in the dishwasher, only hardwash nice knives, that may be very important with a wood handle. I also have a cheap hencklel knife.... stay away!!... those are crap, thin/very soft metal even if it's full tang. Very impressed by Bloomfeild though, worth every penny. From what I read German style typical are a little "softer" metal, easy to sharpen but doesn't hold an edge as long as Japanese style, the trade off being they are very hard to sharpen. But side by side with a $120 wusthof... no difference in my opinion. (And btw a $120 wusthof and a $300 wusthof are the same, you are paying for the handle!!)

Buy it
This knife is exactly what I was hoping for. Its weight is perfect, the thickness is good, it’s a beautiful wood handle, and it cuts well. I will be ordering another.
