Sweet Home Collection 3 Piece Dish Drainer Rack Set with Drying Board and Utensil Holder, 12" x 19" x 5", Ivory

I bought this because it's hard to find one that drains on the side AND is small and isn't one of the ones that has an actual drain that gets gunked up. It fits the space perfectly I just wish it wa actually angled downwards somewhat to get the water actually draining. It just sits flat and I had to mcguyver something so it would actually drain.

I've used this for a year and a half now and it does 85% of the job I want it to. I like that the drip tray faces to the side which is how I have it positioned to drip into my sink. There's a little bit of rust that wipes away for the most part on the side where I lay my knives to dry. Otherwise, the rack has held up.My peeves with this rack are that the slots to hold plates don't always keep them off of the drip tray which I think is a bit icky. You have to play a little bit of a balancing game to position them so that the edges of your plates don't touch the drip tray. The drip tray also is not sloped enough that water drains out easily so sometimes a bit of water can pool and grow some fun (just kidding) brown stuff. The rack and tray are very easy to clean though so it's not a big problem -- just something to consider if you don't get around to a deep clean every month or two.The utensil holder is fine, I have it on the inside like the product photos. I've knocked it into the sink twice when my dishes were not stacked well and got caught under it. Otherwise, it's fine and I like that it has the draining holes at the bottom of the holder.

The drainer rack was ok. The drain tray seemed cheaply made There is no slant to drain water into the sink. The drain ‘spout’ barely reached the sink even when sitting next to sink. I put a piece of wood under the tray to drain water

The reason I bought this dish drainer was because it drains from the side. All the other dish drainers I found drain on the end and not the side. I have very little counter space and having a drainer that drains from the side gives me a little bit more counter space. This works great in my small space. I was afraid it would not hold many dishes, but I can stack a ton of dishes in this thing. This is the second one I've purchased. The first one I bought was a black one. I have really hard water and the black one showed white hard water stains, so I bought the white one this time so that the hard water stains wouldn't show as much. It works great and does what it needs to do for me.

I recieved this little drainboard 10/11/24 & at first I loved it's fresh clean look. However, 50 days later (11/30/24) I can see rust at every single joint & a couple of other places. Too late to return it. I made a bad buy. 😢
