Very pretty pin. I measured it as a little larger than 1.25 inches by 1.25 inches. Because it is rounded it seems larger than those dimensions. Stones seem to be well secured. It has a good closure. It has a solid construction so it is a little heavy so it leans forward when worn. Purple color is more of a light lavender. But I'm definitely keeping it. Hard to find such pretty pins so well built.

This pin is prettier in person than this image. The stones are very close together not with gaps as shown. It came packaged beautifully in a nice gift box and was nicely cushioned in the box with foam on both sides so that it was not floating around loosely but presented beautifully as a gift. I am more than pleased with this Valentines gift for my friends. I would buy again with no qualms.

The pin was more "solid" than the picture, and I really liked that - all the spaces were filled with stones. The colors of the stones were very similar, not dark and light as in the picture, and I liked that better, too. I wore this for a Valentine tea on a lapel on a white blouse under a black sweater and got lots of compliments. The pin gave a nice Valentine flair without being over the top.
