Johari West Geometric Shadow Tropical Hawaiian Batik Shirt

Nice shirt, nice design, fits well. Only problem is that the color is definetly fading, even when washing in cold water. This one faded to a bit of a greenish brown...not ugly but unusual. As an artist, that's okay. Artists are supposed to be a bit u usual., right? Nice thing about these lightweight shirts is that they are able to be worn without ironing IF you get them out of the dryer quick and don't dry them with heavy items. I tried just hang img them to dry but that just made a mass of wrinkles. Bought five shirts various colors and size. I am shrinking as I get older, may have to have them altered to wear next year!

This is the second Johari West Hawaiian shirt I've bought in the last couple of weeks. The first one ( Indo Sapphire Tropical Cotton Batik Shirt By Johari West ) was so nice that I immediately got another one. I'm wearing them all the time now in this NYC heat, and strangers have actually stopped me and asked where I got them. They're the best made, best-looking Hawaiian shirts I've ever seen, a bit pricey but worth it. The colors and batik patterns are really nice, and they're made well with good-quality cotton. They're machine-washable, and they don't need ironing. If you're looking for a really cool shirt to keep you really cool this summer, try any one of these. They're great shirts!

Love the design.I'm generally in between a 2XLT and a 3XLT. After reading some of the reviews on here that it shrank more than expected, I bought the 3XLT. Initially it was *really big* on me (as expected). After a wash or two, it has shrank a little. As of now it's still a little big but as I like my clothes loose fitting, I'm a-ok with that.Some reviews expressed concern over the colors. Mine was fine.

The fabric feels soft, the color (not the print) reminds me of camouflage (upscale) and the buttons are great. After reading the reviews, I ordered a 2XLT. My husband is 6' 2", 130 lbs, but this size is gigantic on him. Hope to exchange it for a better fitting size.

The shirt as shown on Amazon.com is an accurate depiction. It was nice and had a stylish print, but unfortunately it just didn't fit. I have a lot of (size XL) Hawaiian shirts, and I expect them to fit loosely. But this shirt was much larger than "loose". It was huge - so huge that I've returned it. What was especially notable was the width of the sleeves. My upper arms are at least average in size, but these sleeves were large enough for an NFL offensive lineman, and they hung down below my elbow. Maybe it was really an XXL but somehow got mislabeled? In any case, I've given it 4-stars just because I definitely would've kept it had it been sized differently.

This is a well made shirt I purchased for concealed hip carry because of its busy design. It fits as expected and is dyed through the fabric, so it should hold up well in the wash. Some have criticized the lightweight material but I wanted it for the summer months; after all, it is a Hawaiian shirt, not Carhartt.

Thanks to the reviews and product information noting that these shirts are large I followed their size guide and ordered a smaller size than usual, consequently the size seems just fine. I'm also very pleased with the quality, these are lovely shirts, the colours and patterns are as pictured and I'm very, very pleased with the purchase.

LOVE THE SHIRT BUT....;.;NORMALLY TAKE 2XL, BUT THIS 2XL IS LIKE A 4XL, SHORT SLEEVES EXTEND A GOOD 2" BELOW THE ELBOW, AND AROUND THE BELLY I COULD PRACTICALLY FIT AN INFANT WITH SHIRT BUTTONED. SHIRT IS CURRENTLY AT THE TAILOR GETTING ALTERED SO AN EXTRA $15 IS NOW TACKED TO THE PRICE I PAID FOR THIS SHIRT.

La talla M me quedó un poco grande, para la próxima compraré una S, pero en general me gustaron mucho los diseños y veo que hay muchos más, estoy seguro que voy a comprar de nuevo.
