Dawa Jack Rubber Pad,2 Pack Rubber Jack Pads Universal Slotted Frame Rail Protector for Trolley Jack

I have two of these pucks and one of them catastrophically split in half while jacking a mid sized suv (Vauxhall Antara) - this jolted the trolley jack and the car nearly landed on me (saved by jack stand). I'm so angry about it because this is meant to be a safety device to prevent a jack from slipping and yet it failed. Please do not buy this product. The rubber is not hard enough.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU VALUE YOUR OWN SAFETY!!I received this item and had planned to use it when jacking up my wife's car for a project.My wife drives a small hatchback car and the rubber pad fitted well into the jack.When jacking up the car at the rear, there were no issues and the pad seemed to do what it was supposed to do. However, when jacking up the front of the car and as I was placing the axle stand under the car, this rubber pad split down the middle and the car dropped about an inch onto the axle stand.I was very lucky to have just gotten the axle stand in place before this happened as the car would have fell off the jack and with no front wheel installed it would have caused serious damage to the car, not to mention that my leg was under the car at the time!!I can't believe these have passed any sort of quality assurance and mine will be returned for a full refund. The manufacturer is lucky it's only a product refund and not a loss of limb claim.

I've bought a few different sets of pads and generally find that they don't fit the jack saddle very well. The result is that they don't sit cleanly and start to crack/break, making them potentially dangerous.A lot of the pads on Amazon look very similar so I wasn't expecting much from these, but I was pleasantly surprised. These are the only ones that I've found do fit the jack - on my smaller/cheaper 2 ton jack they sit well, and on my larger Sealey high lift jack they fit the saddle so perfectly that I now leave one permanently on the jack when I store it.Due to the fit they hold up very well and protect the car sill, and they also manage to support the weight when raising two wheels at once using a flat surface (although I'll be purchasing a flat pad for that purpose since these aren't really made to do that).Overall I'm very satisfied and would purchase these again if they do become damaged over time.

Excellent product (so far) the material is workable so can be modified to suit your jack and jacking points, good value ... you get two.Ron C

I needed to lift my daughers Fiat 500 on a trolley jack. These were just the job to protect the metal seam underneath which is used as a jacking point.

used one on our CRV and its deformed already, they are cheap for a reason.
