Why need CPL filter for camera lens? 1.Protection for the front lens element It protects the front lens element from finger prints, scratches and dirt destroying. 2. Cut off reflections and glare It cuts off reflections and glare from glass, metals or shiny surfaces that would damage image quality, this works in the same way as polarized sunglasses. 3. Make colors more saturated It cuts reflections from surfaces like leaves, grass or walls, making colors appear saturated, and shadows appear blacker.

Great on A129, a bit pricey
Very easy to install — snaps right on. Fits my A129 perfectly. The filter did not need to be rotated — it was already perfectly adjusted out of the box. You can check this by putting a piece of paper or receipt on the dashboard and rotating the filter in front of the camera lens. I think it’s a bit pricey for what’s a very small, light piece that likely costs pennies in production. However, I find that reducing dashboard reflections is worth it. Finally, I like that it’s not a very dark filter, so it doesn’t take too much light away from the camera, which is important during nighttime.

Piece of overpriced junk... Day time video degrade and then the night time ia not watchable it made the video way worse . for the 200$ camera and the extra coast it not worth it. My zerogogo rw100 little cam 38$ has way better night and day and you dint need this junk filter...This is a joke for a filter it might be just me but good luck if you do buy it. Returned it and also the dash cam git a 2nd rw100 for the back window. Way happy now.

5 stars for the Anti-Glare filter, 2 for the Parking Mode Hard Wire Kit
The Anti-Glare works great.The Hard Wire Kit worked for about 8 months. Then it started draining my battery. After finding the battery dead twice, it had to be replaced. Then had another dead battery & suspected the camera setup. Changed the voltage setting for it to cut out at the highest voltage setting. Another dead, & now bad battery. Now I don't depend on the voltage protector to work & just turn the camera off at home. It's ok leaving it on for a few hours, but I don't trust it ovenight anymore.

Snap on Lens improves quality of video
This is a great lens that gets rid of glare caused by reflections off chrome and other things that degrade your videos. It fits and works as described and is a great addition for better quality video. I only gave it 4 stars for value as I thought it was a little pricey and I bought it on sale.

Works Great
After installing these filters on both the front and rear cameras it was like looking at video from a totally different perspective. The filters eliminated most dashboard reflections and videos facing the sun were not totally washed out.

Used On Both Front & Rear Cameras
Front camera videos do seem downgraded, Rear camera is improved due to more glares.I would not recommend purchase of these.

Helps to reduce glare
I like this item, it does help to reduce reflections a lot (mostly from dashboard) so video recording looks better and it makes camera looking stealthy because lens without this filter is more noticeable.

Some flaws
Excellent on reducing glare, but they eventually warp in the California sun and will rattle with the engines vibration.

Works well on StreetGuardian camera
I bought this for my StreetGuardian camera and it seems Identical to the one in the box. Works well, I assume it'd fit any similar camera.
