Used to anchor out a lily pad!
These boat anchors are perfect for moving a lily pad away from the dock and boat! They’re easy to use and hold everything in place, keeping the lily pad exactly where you want it. A simple and effective solution for keeping things organized and safe for the kids on the water. Definitely a handy tool for boaters!

Works, but poor paint quality.
It works. However, I recomend cold galvanizing before use. Mine started rusting after 1 use in river water. Thereafter looks new after months of frequent use.

Perfect for My Particular Application
Yes, I know that it's only an anchor. But for my 14-foot jon boat on the freshwater creeks and rivers of Virginia Beach and North Carolina it is the PERFECT size! This anchor easily holds my boat in place in winds gusting up to 20 mph. (If it's windier than that, I don't go fishing.) At the same time, it is NOT cumbersome, as was the 15-pound anchor it replaced. Bottom line? Select your anchor based on the size of your boat and the conditions under which you will use it!

It's an anchor. It worked. Nuff said.
Used this to anchor my paddle board to a fixed location while I taught myself (well tried to...) wing sail. A 250' length of rope let me sail around in a decent size area. This anchor held fast and kept me from becoming fish food. Good deal for a decent quality item. I do believe this will eventually rust if left untreated.

It's an anchor.
One end of rope gets tied through the anchor hole. The other end attaches to the small boat. Hey! it keeps the boat from drifting away!
