Spades + Phase 10
Fun game! Kind of like Spades and Phase 10 mixed together. Fun with 2 people but definitely better with a crowd.

Great fun
This game is great. I live in a 55+ active apartment and we're always looking for fun, interesting, stimulating games of all types and this fits. The changes with each hand are fun, scoring is easy, winning is strategic. This is the prefect game to cure boredom. We usually play with 6-8 players. My only complaint is that the yellow card are difficult to see the numbers on the white background.

If you’ve ever played spades, it’s a fun variation
This game is only six rounds. Not very fun with only two people. We love playing spades, so we got the idea pretty quickly, but it is a different variation. What would be Trump in spades, I guess you would call Crud in this game and it changes every round by the role of a die or two dice, depending on the round. The first two rounds we thought the game was kind of stupid, because it seemed like there was no way for one person to win when the other person got so far ahead. My husband and I played by ourselves, just so we could learn how to play, so when the family gets together, we already know what we’re doing, then round three and four came and they were different, so it makes it interesting. Every round is different. The last round makes a world of difference. You can be losing badly and still win the game. Good family fun, but I would say for at least teenagers or adults to really get the full strategy of the game. I highly recommend not only reading the rulebook, but scanning the QR codes and watching the videos. If you’ve never played spades, the rules can be a little vague. Some things are not very clear, but it just takes some common sense to know the things that aren’t very clear in the instructions. The key is to not end up, taking the cards after everyone has laid down if there is “crud “in them, because you will get points, and the goal is to end up with the lowest amount of points. One thing that is not clear in the rules is if you throw off suit even if it is a higher card, you do not take those cards, because the person who leads the round determines the color or shape of the lead card. You must follow with that color or shape if you have it and if yours is higher with the number on the card, you take that round or stack of cards. if your number is higher, but it is not the lead color or shape you do not take those cards. It was OK with two people in the end, but I can’t wait to play with the whole family. It should be fun and not too complicated.

Fund, but a bit challenging to learn
We're a game-playing family, but this card game was not easy to learn by reading the 30+ page instruction booklet. Lots of repetitive information in the booklet, then referring to pages ahead and/or watching a video on the Internet! Really? Simplifying the instructions might be better. Once we figured it out, it was fun to play though.Buying it through Amazon's Ghetti Games was great though. The game arrived on time as promised.

Fun game that was easy to learn!
We play a really fun card game called, "Minnesota Salad." This game was very much like that game if you've ever played it. Learning new games can sometimes feel intimidating. However, the videos the company provides were very well done and very helpful in learning how to play this game. This was something our entire family, aged 12 and up, enjoyed! Each round has a different objective which makes it really interesting. It is probably about 30 minutes a game to play. We will definitely be looking for more games from this company again in the future!
