They work on a noisy store AC previously on a metal rack up a wall, about 50-80% perhaps noise reduction. It was like having a drill installed in the wall before. Self locking nuts are mandatory so they don't unscrew from vibration. You have to research and calibrate the rubber mounts you buy to the weight it's supporting, and vibration frequency. A few companies have guides on their sites or you can inquire....However I don't know for how long they will work. Some complain not very long, and I subjectively seem to distinguish the solution already beginning to partially fail within a week, or I'm imagining it. It began at about 80% reduction, now I'ld say 50%. I couldn't get a real reading on the weight of the AC, just estimated, and also no rubber mounts have specs with them, so I had to assume they're the same specs according to diameter and width alone, meaning I may have bought a partially improper solution, however stiffer rubber wouldn't have been as good either. Truth is almost nobody really knows anything for sure
