After several previous poor choices and many other bags that have been returned, this bag is a WINNER!!! It’s just the right size to be a personal item for a flight, meaning it holds the very most a personal item can hold. It’s got zippered pockets in surprising spots, like the one on the top of the bag and the one on the lower part under the straps. I was almost ready to buy a bag 4x as much as this one, and now so glad I took a chance on this reasonably priced practical and cute style backpack meant as a carry on personal item. This is my first time using it, so I can’t speak for durability, but it seems well made. And best of all, my large metal water bottle has not fallen out. The water bottle pocket is extra deep and it has the additional buckle strap to secure the top of the bottle. It’s available in a bunch of nice colors too. Thank you for designing this bag and making it affordable.

Spacious and Airline approved personal item. Highly recommend! Fits under the seat on the plane. Opens on the side like a suitcase making packing and unpacking easier to sort items. Two straps on each side cinches to tighten over the zipper creating a secure and smaller profile. Ample pockets for quick access items. Two mesh pockets inside the main enclosure. Backpack is comfortable to wear for travel. This would make a perfect weekender bag as well.

Took this bag on my first trip, a week long two city trip with four segments of flying across three different airlines. Enough travel to get a good sense on the performance of the bag. Overall, the bag worked better than the two other bags it replaced. On my initial outbound flight, I had 2 laptops, two books, a notebook, a half dozen shirts and all sorts of gadgets and toiletries. With the books and the two laptops, the bag definitely felt heavy and my shoulders were a little sore when I arrived. On my next segment, I removed the books and notebook and the weight was just about right for me. I found the rugged handle at the top of the back very handy, and the band on the back of the bag to allow the bag to be secured on a handle rails of a roller bag is also very useful as you don't have to hold the bag while rushing through the airport. The bag fits perfectly under the tightest aisle seat compartment. The bag's main compartment is very roomy, however, keep in mind that the bag has limited padding so fragile items will not be well protected on their own. Overall the bag appears to be well constructed, it proved to be very functional and it is great value for a sub-$30 bag. Recommended.

Went all the way to India with me and back without any apparent wear or damage. Main complaints are weak compression and poor stashing of straps. For the price though, four stars.Pros:- lots of organization pockets- not too many organization pockets- holds an amazingly large amount of stuff- key hook is perfect for your Tile- compression straps- internal straps for the large compartment to aid in packingCons:- stowage of backpack straps weak- luggage loop a bit high and difficult to use- compression straps only compress the edges, not fully across the bag for center compression- no id tag pocket so you need a hanging tag- no lock attachments for zippers (sure, you aren't gonna need the locks since it's a carryon and you can use the zipper pulls for the locks, but I find they are helpful to prevent unintentional unzipping)

Love all the pockets! Keeps my computer secure and protected during travel. Holds an amazing amount of clothes and organizes all of my items so I know where everything is located. Durable, too! You really can't go wrong with this backpack as a personal item. Fits under the seat and holds all of my travel items at the ready. Great for budget airlines and long weekend travels. I even packed it for a week away and had everything I needed!
